Cannondale works with CPSC on official recall of entrance racks
WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Cannondale, which issued a safety notice in July about entrance racks used on a few of its Treadwell bike fashions, is now conducting a recall of the racks with the U.S. Client Product Security Fee and Canadian authorities.
The entrance racks can detach from the bikes and abruptly cease the entrance wheel. Biking Sports activities Group has acquired reviews of two incidents of the tray detaching and contacting the bicycle wheel, one leading to a fall involving minor cuts and bruises, and the opposite involving each bruising and a concussion.
The recall entails entrance racks with a bamboo tray included with Treadwell bicycles and offered individually. A desk displaying the bike fashions that included the rack is under.
The rack has a black metallic body and a bamboo tray. “ISO11243:2016 YUENI MAX 10KG” is printed on the bamboo tray.
Cannondale offered about 1,975 racks within the U.S. and about 114 in Canada.
