The 130th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will be held between October 15 and November 3 in an online and offline merged format. 16 product categories in 51 sections will be displayed and a rural vitalization zone will be designated both online and onsite to showcase featured products from these areas. The onsite exhibition will be held in 3 phases as usual, with each phase lasting for 4 days. The total exhibition area reaches 1.185 million m2 and the number of standard booths around 60,000. Chinese representatives of overseas organizations and companies, as well as domestic buyers will be invited to attend the Fair. The online website will develop functions suitable for the onsite event and to bring more visitors to attend the physical Fair.
Timetable of Canton Fair 2021
The Canton Fair has 16 major themes, providing one-stop shopping. Each theme exhibition area is comparable to similar international exhibitions, and the quality of enterprises and products presents first-class Chinese manufacturing standards.
The Canton Fair is a comprehensive international trading event with the longest history, the largest scale, the most complete exhibit variety, and the greatest business turnover in China. Held at the centenary of the CPC, the 130th Canton Fair is of great significance. The Ministry of Commerce will work with Guangdong Provincial Government to improve various plans on exhibition organization, celebration activities and pandemic prevention and control, to further play Canton Fair’s role as a platform for all-round opening-up and consolidate the gains in the prevention and control of COVID-19 as well as social and economic development. The Fair will serve the new development pattern with domestic circulation as the mainstay and domestic and international circulations reinforcing each other. Chinese and international companies are welcome to visit the grand event of the 130th Canton Fair to create a better future.
The exclusive logo of the 130th Canton Fair is composed of the number “130”, letters “CANTON FAIR”, the Canton Fair logo — Baoxiang Flower, and the time “1957-2021”. The number “130” represents the glorious journey of the Canton Fair. The number “1” resembles a path extending into the distance, implying that China’s path of opening-up will become wider. The number “0” consists of two closely integrated rings, representing “dual format” 그리고 “dual circulation”, highlighting the theme of promoting dual circulations and the characteristic of online-offline integration. The exclusive logo adopts red and gold as its main colors, featuring resilience and firmness. It represents that over the past 65 years, the Canton Fair has sustained revolutionary legacy and stayed true to its original aspiration. At the new starting point of the second centenary goal, the Fair will continue to conduct reform and innovation to further burnish its reputation. It will strive to better serve national strategies, all-round opening up, innovative development of foreign trade, and the new mission of building the new development paradigm, so as to make a greater contribution to China’s opening up as well as economic and social development.
