I remember thinking, “I want to know what’s at the bottom of that mountain?” and then deciding I wasn’t going to look for it because then I would have to climb back to that very intimidating hill. My e-bike allows me to live almost car-free, which is impossible for most people on a regular bike. Most of my daily commute is on an electric bike. So while I’m a strong cyclist and often have a lot of fun on my regular bike, my high level of fitness is mostly due to my e-bike, not my regular bike. The same applies to Maggie. We can even use our e-bikes to go grocery shopping together!

Start with your weight in pounds, e.g. 250 pounds
Divide it by 2.2 to get your weight in kg, in this case 113.6 kg
Multiplying 113.6 by 6 gives 632 calories per hour on a regular bike
